RegNet scholars awarded 2024 Gender Institute grant for innovative gender study workshop

We are thrilled to announce that Jenna Harb, Tate McAllister and Kate Henne have been awarded a Gender Institute grant to support their upcoming workshop, Care and (Re)making Gender Through Everyday Technoscience, scheduled for November 2024.

This engaging two-day workshop will explore the theme of 'care' and examine how mundane relations of care materialise and contribute to the shaping of gender and gender relations. The event will bring together Australian Higher Degree Research and Early Career Researcher (ECR) scholars specialising in science and technology studies. Participants will benefit from the expertise of leading technoscience academics, fostering an enriching experience for ECR development. A highlight of this workshop will be the development of papers for a proposed special issue, co-edited by Jenna, Tate and Kate, discussing emerging research, themes, and insights from the workshop.
