How do regulators working in Australia’s many “one law / many regulator” schemes achieve harmonious regulatory outcomes?
Australian governments have sought to harmonise many regulatory domains through schemes where “uniform” or “mirror” laws are made. While the legislation may be the same, implementation including compliance and enforcement is shared between different levels of government. Rosemary's research considers the implications for regulatory practice of these “one law / many regulators” systems.
This seminar is Rosemary's Confirmation of Candidature milestone presentation. As such, the presentation is a closed event for RegNet staff, visitors and students only.
