Esther McVicar is currently a doctoral student at the School of Regulation and Global Governance at the Australian National University examining the hidden power of technology in public institutions. This research follows a 25-year career in strategy, governance, risk, and organisational systems in the public and private sectors.

An experienced executive director, she is a sessional academic at the Australian National University (ANU) and the Australian New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG), she consults on human centric strategy, risk, & governance projects.
